Apply for Free School Meals & register for Pupil Premium

Please complete the form to apply for Free School Meals (FSM) and to register for the Pupil Premium Grant (PPG - additional funding for the school to help support your child more effectively), even if you are not sure of your eligibility. You will not need to provide any additional proof of income as your details and eligibility are checked. Please apply online where possible by following the link below.

You will be given an immediate answer if you apply online; however, please note that a positive response online is only an INDICATION of eligibility for free school meals - no award exists until processed and confirmed. Provided you are eligible you will not need to do anything else.

Please also apply if your child/children receive Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM - Reception and Years 1 & 2).

We will get the PPG for each child (additional funding).

Who can claim:

Do you receive any of the following benefits?

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
 
You must be the named recipient of the benefit to make the free school meals application.
