Following the Veolia Workshops last week related to recycling, biodiversity, pollution and climate change, our Eco Rangers started to create pictures of how they would like the world to look in the future making the most of our natural resources and how to save them.
When completed, the designs will be entered into ‘Our Future World’ competition for the chance for their artwork to be displayed at their local Household Waste Recycling Centre. |
Great KS2 assembly delivered by Rachel from Veolia. The theme of the assembly was
‘Our Future World’
with messages about climate change, bio-diversity and recycling. Rachel displayed a range of waste packaging and shared how it can be recycled responsibly and made into new products.
The children were encouraged to consider how they would like their future world to look and what steps they can make now to improve the environment and create a better future for humans, plants, animals and insects.
